Cabin redesign on Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages are not ones to rest on their laurels. They have already refreshed things with a cabin redesign for the new Valiant Lady which is due to launch in the UK this spring. Cabins aboard the, still sparkly and new, Scarlet Lady are also being upgraded. The aim is to bring a warmer vibe alongside a more sophisticated feel. The redesigned interiors feature wooden walls and wood  trimmed finishings along with handpicked artwork that embodies Virgin Voyages’ playful and contemporary nature. Increased drawer and storage space will be useful on Valiant Lady’s new seven night European itineraries. We think that packing cubes will still prove very useful!

Named Cruise Critic’s best new ship for 2021, Virgin Voyages‘ Scarlet Lady offered a dynamic cabin design with intelligent, evolving architecture’ but it wasn’t universally loved. This redesign is expected to address some of those misgivings.

What hasn’t been changed?

Cabins still feature the custom Seabeds, specially engineered for adaptability, hammocks on the balcony, rain showers in the bathrooms and ambient lighting for the room. This is said tone able to match any mood and it is a lot of fun to play with the controls – settings vary from “Zen” to “Pump Me Up”.

Valiant Lady and her older sister Scarlet, are midsized ships and feature 1,330 cabins and an impressive 78 RockStar Quarters. 86 percent of cabins offering a balcony and 93 percent with ocean views with a few inside cabins mainly designated for solo voyagers.
