UK homeport for Enchanted Princess!

Enchanted Princess

In a surprise announcement from Princess Cruises this morning we heard some great news. Southampton will be the UK homeport for Enchanted Princess this summer! She will be based in Southampton for this year’s UK summer season. So starting on 4 May 2022, Enchanted Princess will offer 13 new voyages ranging from four to 14 nights.

Enchanted Princess joined the Princess fleet in November 2021.

She is currently completing her inaugural Caribbean season. In April Enchanted will be heading to Europe and will join her sister ship, Sky Princess in Southampton. There will be two other Princess ships – Emerald Princess and Island Princess – heading for the UK too. They are all scheduled to sail out of Southampton this year so there will be lots of choice!

The 3,660-guest Enchanted Princess represents an evolution of the design platform consistent across her Royal-class sister ships, meaning an elevation of style and elegance. Enchanted Princess delivers the ultimate in effortless, personalised cruising and the world-class dining and entertainment that gives Princess such a high reputation

New Itineraries

New itineraries will include short cruises and longer voyages to the Canary Islands, Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Norway and Iceland. So plenty of choice! With all-inclusive balcony fares, which include the line’s premium drinks package, unlimited MedallionNet Wi-Fi and crew appreciation. Prices start from £499pp. This is for a five-night cruise to Zeebrugge, Channel Islands and the Netherlands that will depart 15 May 2022.

“Following on from the popularity of having two Royal-class ships based in Southampton last year, we are delighted to have two of our newest ships in the UK this summer,” said Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK and Europe. “Bringing Enchanted Princess to Southampton is testament to the UK cruise market, as it shows that people are eager to sail with us and have memorable holidays at an incredible value.”

Enchanted Princess provides the ‘MedallionClass’ Experience.

Enchanted Princess uses the seamless ‘MedallionClass’ Experience. As with all ships in the Princess fleet, this begins with the Medallion, a 10 pence-sized wearable device that enables everything. From expedited contactless boarding to locating friends and family anywhere on the ship. It allows enhanced services, whatever guests need can be delivered directly to them, wherever they are on the ship. In addition, guests can share their cruise moments using MedallionNet, the best Wi-Fi at sea, and stay connected with friends and family back home. Many people even take a workation – working remotely anywhere on the ship, quickly post content and stream movies and shows.
