Enchanted Princess has been awarded a Good Housekeeping 2023 Family Travel Award, recognising the ship as “Great for Groups.” The Princess ship is one of only three cruise ship experiences selected as winners. At Cruise Addicted we are not surprised, having loved our time onboard back in May22.

New European homeports for Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean has announced an awesome set of itineraries for Summer 2023, with more ships than ever before deployed to Europe, and featuring some interesting new homeports and destinations. Nine of the stunning Royal Caribbean ships will be sailing in Europe – including the return of the new Quantum Class – Odyssey of the Seas – with each having its own home port and routes. Family favourite Anthem of the Seas is returning to Southampton for the third consecutive year.
Amazon offer Covid Testing
Amazon are opening up their PCR testing service to the UK. Using tests originally developed for their own use they are now selling online at prices that will send shockwaves through the UK PCR test market as their prices are significantly lower than those of their competitors.
Amazon.co.uk say they have spent ‘billions’ over the course of the pandemic developing laboratories and testing facilities for both their own staff and frontline workers . This is what they are now offering UK customers in what will bring significant reductions to the cost of taking a post-travel PCR test.
P & O announce escape room plans for Arvia
P&O Cruises announced today that their first escape room experience will be onboard their next Excel class ship, the Arvia – which is due to join the fleet in December 2022
New and exclusive to Arvia Mission Control will be P&O Cruises first multi-sensory escape room. The new experience is set underwater on board a fictional submarine Arvia II, with a series of challenging, mind stimulating live-action puzzles.
